Once upon a time there was this great and fantastic group of people who blogged and photographed … with a click, click here, a snap, snap there, all of them had a week to look upon the sky … day and night, by dusk or dawn, sunrise or sunset … and always there where great and fantastic photos to be seen when SKY WATCH was opened …

I am one of those proud sky watchers and I really enjoy each and every one of the photos you show us. I really think you are a first class sky watcher!

And what views you bring us!

Maria these are beautiful pictures. I love the different types of clouds. It's been so long since I have seen cirrhus clouds. We have been having a lot of cumulus and nimbus clouds this summer.

Such pleasant skies make the mountains seem benign. I am sure that can be a dangerous trap for the unwary.

@ Aileni:
Oh yes, thunder and lightning would be dangerous on a tour like this.
I had to return without reaching the peak already once, but this time everything was OK, not even a drop of rain!

Lovely mountain landscape and a beautiful sky! I allways like the mountain pictures because we don't have mountains here in Finland. The sky we have. :)

Great photos. And I am so glad that your dog came through his illness. I just lost both of our dogs to old age problems. Mustang Mike

Maria, this is such a great series. I loved the top one, and then went crazy over the one with the fascinating clouds trickling down over the tiny person on the hillside, and then just when i think it can't get any better, you added the glacier at the end! WOW, thanks for the stroll in the mountains!
