Imperial Palace Schloss Schönbrunn

From time to time it makes fun to visit Schloss Schönbrunn, the imperial palace of Maria Theresia.

And also the Vienna Zoo, Tiergarten Schönbrunn, which is close by.

After taking a stroll among the wild animals, you will take a rest in the Imperial Pavillon, Kaiserpavillion.

The birds on the roof are no decoration by Alfred Hitchcock!

And cool birds, promenading in the baroque lawns:
Russische Saatkrähen
(Russian rooks)

Hheee the 'Hitchcock Birds" look part of the ironwork! I love Schönbrunn but only saw the gardens when it was snowing ... so bright and colourful there now!

It's a shame, I have been in a lot of places in Austria (Kärnten mostly) but never visited Wien. But it's on my list. Yes, I will post about the Garda lake's mountains because I did it already last year here Garda Lake
