Look at that dog! Without a fear of heights!

Lovely Maria, surely that is early morning light. I see you had no snow for Christmas, what a pity. At least you and your beautiful friend enjoyed that wonderful crisp air of your walk along the canal and through your so picturesque city.
Happy Christmas.

Hallo Maria,
glaube nicht, dass sich die Hunde in einer solchen Situation um uns sorgen würden, sie sind eben clever.
Wir doch auch, oder .... ???

The photos of your dog on the ledge reminded me of a standard poodle puppy I was socializing for the breeder. LuAnn liked to watch the pigeons from the balcony and I didn't think much of it until the day I turned to find her standing on the cement railing gazing up at the pigeons soaring in flight. Worried I might startle her, I went immediately to rummage in the fridge calling her. I gave her some cooked beef after she bolted back into the apartment to stick her nose into the fridge. She loved her food. Thereafter the balcony door was never left open if LuAnn was loose in the apartment. That was too close a call for me, as my apartment was on the 23rd floor.
