I am sure you get a white Christmas! It looks like D'Ora is waiting too to have fun in the snow. My great cousin who lives in Zurich e-mailed me. The South of Austria, got a lot of snow. That is where her mother, which is my cousin, (it's getting complicated) lives. Trains where halted because of 1 m of snow. So, my dear Maria watch out for the snow balls.
In my neighbourhood there's been about 15cm of snow, and more is expected before the end of the week. Its been a bit frigid the last couple of days but not really bad. -18C. It could be worse: the Canadian prairies are having overnight lows of -40C plus windchill on top of that.
I cross my fingers and 'halt die Daumen' that you do get a white Christmas. Europe seems to have had a lot less snow and America a surfeit, having snow on the west coast where it is rarely seen and down to Reno and Las Vegas. Have a wonderful Christmas, are you going to Midnight Mass at St.Stephans?
Thank you Maria for your fantastic depiction of one of my favourite cities. I don't always comment but I often visit. Have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New year. And D'Ora is adorable! Fingers crossed for a white Christmas . . Cheers and felicitations from the land down under (although I think we're really on top, the map makers got it wrong!)
It snowed in our city but it did not stick. Everyone was delighted. I hope you get your snow.
Maria, thank you very much for sharing your adventures and good tidings with us throughout the year. I thoroughly enjoyed your photographic essays but most especially your wonderful sense of humor, your good nature and your wonderfullness. Thank you for being a blog friend.
