Yesterday I visited my sister Michaela who lives in a small village 45 miles NW of Vienna.
Her youngest daughter celebrated her 6th birthday.
Family meeting :)
After eating and drinking and gosssipping and having all that fun,
my 16 year old niece Iris noticed that the sun was slowly setting.
We rushed out and found the last flowers,
an old brown sedum, and some new "Winter snowballs", as my sister calls them, and a rising moon!
I post two sets of photos as I am unable to decide which one to take!

Nice pics:)
Both beautiful shots.
You are right to show them all they are beautiful. It is interesting how some flowers long past their youth and glory still can look so attractive. They are so charming.
All your photos are quite lovely Maria and each one has it's own beauty, glad you shared them all. Happy Birthday to your niece.
Lovely pictures! Glad you had a nice visit!
Great post and photos, Maria. Sounds as if you had a great family get together.
Maria: What lovely captures of the tiny white flower.
Thanks for sharing these lovely flowers!
love the photos of the winter snowballs - the first has the delicate flowers contrastin with the setting sun - the second has a silhouette of the flower and the blur of the background almost vying for attention
thanks for sharing
The colors are all sumptuous and I wouldn't have been able to pick just one either! Thanks for sharing the beauty and the visit with your sister.
Have a great week, Maria!
Some flowers still hang on, but it is getting late now.
Maria, the beautiful photos of flowers always draw me back to enjoy a breath of beauty. Thanks for sharing.
Very pretty, Maria. I think what you call a Winter Snowball is a Dawn viburnum. They are blooming here too. They look so out of place, don't they. MB
Very nice shots! :-)
Oh so beautiful! Lovely photos Maria.
My computer and I have both had a few problems lately.
Hello maria!
How've you been?
your pictures are always beautiful.
