Andreas

Hi Maria :)

I am still in an euphoria and basking in the glory of winning the coveted award:) I can't get over the fact that you made me receive the award on the glittering stage along with fantastic ladies- as I said THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN :)

But then how long can I sit on my laurels? I have to keep moving to win more awards :)

To tell you honestly, when I saw the first photo, I thought your house was on fire. The tulip was a brilliant, shocking red, the color of a wild fire. You are an amazing photographer with an uncanny ability to capture exciting photos.

Only after seeing the second photo,my nerves calmed down as I realized they were tulips and not fire with which you are playing:)

Are you aware that one tulip is named after our world famous beauty queen Aiswaria Rai Bachan?
She was Miss World and now a famous actress in India.

Oh, let me stop now. I will start dreaming of Aiswaria :) :) :)

Many thanks for sharing these breathtaking photos along with a short and sweet narration.

Wish you a wonderful day :)

These are lovely - both macro and the others! Tulips are so pretty at this time of year - in all colors! And red is so vibrant - and your shots likewise!

Thank you so much for the award Maria! I am no using my boyfriends computer, and discovered the award! I will "collect" it when I get everything in order with my own computer! "Hot blog award"? And only shots of winter lately! That is so cool - and I was so glad to recieve it!

Have a great week in your beautiful Vienna!
