SWF -Umbrella sky

All of a sudden the evening sky darkens,

the rain begins to fall,

umbrellas open,

and soon the view upwards is overcast ...

... umbrella skies!

Vienna State Opera, Hotel Sacher, Kärntner Straße and backstreets

What a great procession of umbrellas. These shoppers are determined, in spite of the rain.

Maybe if we have a wet spring, summer won't be too dry. Love the name of your post. ;-)

Wonderful photo essay!
Love the very appropriate title.

It's been a bright full moon for a few nights, but tonight we are expecting snow flurries.

I love the umbrella view. We have been having such beautiful weather cold, some snow but then it clears and we have such sunny skies. We actually need some rain. MB

Lovely series of rainy day photos Maria. I don't mind a drop of rain and it does make for pretty photography with all those umbrellas. Great SWF post.

Umbrella sky is a good name.
We don't get much rain in Utah, so an occasion to use an umbrella is something to celebrate!
Great photos of your city streets.

Umbrella sky, no doubt. As ours. But it didn't prevent you from making pictures. That way we keep visiting Vienna in front of our screen, in the confort of our apartment.

Ah, refreshing rain of spring! Here it poured rain yesterday and this morning, a perfect day for umbrellas. It washes away all the dirt hanging around from winter. The flowers will be blooming in no time.
