A Japanese Restaurant

Today we passed by this little Japanese restaurant in the centre of Vienna.
Our son had had his meals here during his last schoolyear until he did not want to eat sushi anymore.

I found that the restaurant was really nice.

Even "push" was written in Japan on the door!

Hi Maria, Sushi has become very popular. All my grand children love it. They also take it to school for lunch. I like japanese food too, but prefer a "goulash"!
It is still early in the morning and I was up too early, it is quite cold, we don't have heating. As soon as the sun comes up it is warm. I look forward to spring. I think I am going back to bed! Have a lovely day. T.

"Louis" is with your son on the sushi! Mme. la Vache upon leaving for her trip to China and Japan laughingly told "Louis" that she would eat sushi every day she was gone. "Louis" replied: 'You can have my share, too...'

The only thing "Louis" is less thrilled about to see on a plate after beef is fish....

Dear Maria, thank you for your message. I do love Wiener Schnitzel. My mother was an Austrian girl, Rosa, that's why I like all this food and have a very soft spot for the country too. Thanks for your friendship. T.

Sushi and sashimi look nice but except for vegetables, I like my meat cooked. Great to catch up with your blog after having been away for vacation.

Hi maria!
I really like sushi!
If you come to Japan, you can eat variout type of sushi.
one type of sushi called " Nigiri "
is good. but " Hitsumabushi " is really goooooood!
First you eat only sushi, then you pour dashi-soup on it. it's really incredible. When you come to Japan, I'll take you to a good restaurant:)
by the way Japanese word of "Push " is pronounced " Osu ":)
and Japanese word of " vinegar " is pronoumced " Osu ", too:)
is it interesting?

Did you eat at the restaurant? I don't think I have had Japanese food. I know I must have---the Pacifac NW is the gateway to Japan.
Still working on your lovely award. MB

Hallo Mary!

Ich liebe diese Fotos geneigt. Mich erinnern die TV-Serie von Batman und Robin. Sie erinnern sich? Die Bösewichte immer schien geneigt.

I'm not a sushi fan, but I LOVE eating in Japanese restaurants, and watching them cook the food right there!! YUM!!!
