Sky Watch Friday - Umbria

After a thunderstorm and heavy rain in Umbria, Italy, summer 2004.
The last clouds vanish, a rainbow stands at the horizon.

The flowers in the garden are dripping.

I envy the Europeans. They are so close to so many beautiful and unique places. The Italian landscape is gorgeous.

Wow. That SW photo is probably the most beautiful I've seen, and I don't say that lightly. It's absolutely perfect.

This is a gorgeous picture with the rainbow and the golden field. Yes one can see the flowers are all heavy from the previous down pour.
Lovely memories of a holiday.

There is an 'umber' cast that lends this picture an atmosphere of heat. A magical scene.
