Today's Flowers

This is my contribution to Today's Flowers.
I took this picture four years ago in Umbria, Italy,
about 1.000 km South of Vienna, Austria.
It's my favourite!

We spent three weeks in Umbria, near Rome and made little trips to the old Umbrian cities.
When we speak of Italy, we say, the LIGHT is different in Italy. We say, they know how to arrange FLOWERS so that they achieve that special effect. Simplicity. Beauty.
Please look and see what I mean.
PLEASE ENLARGE THE PICTURES AND MAYBE YOU SEE
why I adore Italian style.

I like the elegant look of simplicity too. It's not as easy to achieve as it first appears!

Hello maria!
what beautiful pictures they are!
I've been to Italy twice.
I like Italy, too.
I wish earthquakes didn't happen in Japan like Europe.
Becuase in Japan earthquakes happen a lot. So many old buildings broke down...

I think your pretty flower likes its tender care. Very nice snapshots of the narrow streets and doorways adorned with flowers and greenery. Wonderful post!
