Today's flowers - Red and René Magritte

Here a late pink rose, in the meantime covered by the first snow!

When my husband goes to the market on Saturday, he usually brings me some flowers.
He knows a flower seller whose flowers are really outstanding:
Beautiful and fresh, they usually stay fresh for two weeks!
I tried to photograph the red blossoms against René Magritte's blue sailing ship made of blue waves!

I want to thank the

TODAY'S FLOWERS TEAM

DENISE B. CASTRO at PHOTO&GRAPHIA

LAERTE PUPO at IPSIS PHOTOS

for organizing this beautifull meme.

At http://flowersfromtoday.blogspot.com/ you find flowers from all around the globe!

What beautiful flowers...I have just last week planted some roses. I am hoping they will flower nicely next year. Maria I am from Shropshire but I was down in Dorset for a meteing last week. I will post one from Shropshire for next weeks Skywatch. I have never been to Vienna but I took my son to Austria to a beautiful village, the name of which I cannot remember, it was very beautiful with lots and lots of snow. It is very memorable :D

Maria thank you for these beautiful photos. How in the world did you keep that whole roses shot so detailed? The red ones are so Christmasee. I don't remember the names of the red ones. But, several years ago, I planted some in my yard. They have never come back that red. However, they are a deep almost rose color. I love them.
