Sky Watch Friday - Storm

Today's weather report for Vienna, Austria:
Stormy western winds with gusts of 80 to 120 km/hour
(50 to 75 miles/hour),
daytime temperatures of up to 14°C (57°F) .
Driving could be dangerous, trees, branches and roof tops might be tossed and tumbled by the storm.
I expected a breathtaking sky but is was unspectacular.

However, the storm will blow off the last leaves
and on the weekend we expect the first snow flakes!

Have a lovely weekend!

Check the sky all around the blue planet here!

That's some serious wind! Sorry it didn't at least produce a spectacualr sky! I'm having wind and cold today, too, and there are a few clouds coming in, so we can hope...

Hi Maria :)

Inspite of bad weather forecast, grey unappealing skies and probably a depressed mood you managed some very good photos.

In the second photo, there is a white speck in the dark sky. It is either a very brave man on a glider or a large bird which has lost its way,I guess.

Congratulations for making the best of worst conditions.

Have a good day :)

Bonjour Maria.
We're sisters of Sky today, no?
A lot of grey moody weather, but the temper still resists to melancholy.
Bon week-end, Maria.

Those are beautiful shots. I love the way the buildings looks as well as the sky. I woke up this morning to snow in NC, US where I live and it was pretty although already melting.
