Sky Watch Friday - Vienna's fog

Last Tuesday we had a foretaste of a typical foggy November day here in Vienna.

You better forget about your depressions :-)

Watch St. Stephen's West towers and the South tower dissolving in the fog!

The frontal view of the south tower

Awesome!
Fortunately, there is still some red and blue colour left!

Please feel free to watch brighter skies:

Have a nice weekend!

This is a beautiful building and the fogginess adds an interesting element in a good way. You can get away with grey skies when you have such great buildings.
Happy SWF.

Wonderful fog pictures, like a grey blanket enveloping the cathedral.
Sehr schoene Bilder Maria. Nett das du die Herbstblaetter dazu getan hast.

Very atmospheric and lovely.
Yes, a bit gray - but it makes a change from brightness.
Happy weekend.

Great photos! Fogs are very rare in Malta and if we do get one it's only for the few early hours of the morning.

Looking up is wonderful especially when it is towards the sky and along the way are some of the most magnificent buildings.

Hi Maria, fog over the city does that mean you can now sit warm and cosy in a armchair and read a book?
This is a great picture an I love how you soften it with this lovely red and blue autumn spray.

Wunderschöne Fotos! Imposant und durch den Nebel auch etwas unwirklich, so aus der Zeit gefallen.

Vienna is fortunate to have its historic buildings. This brings back memories of my trip there almost 40 years ago. I think I need a return visit to see the sights I missed.

The fog lends a etheral look to the spires.
