Let's visit Schloss Schönbrunn, the imperial residence of Maria Theresia, one of the major tourist attractions in Vienna.
We start with a cup of coffee at the Kaiserpavillion, and then walk around the Vienna Zoo.
Please, click on the pictures for more photos or follow the links above for more information!
But be cautious, don't wake up the animals at the Zoo :)

Oh, I remember visiting this place way back in 1971 in the summer. The gardens still look the same. Thanks for posting.
ReplyDeletethe palace is so grand.. and your photographs are lovely. thank you for sharing with us.
ReplyDeletehave a terrific tuesday.
I love to visit zoos when i'm in a trip. Six months in Boca Raton, Florida, we visited all the zoos and the aquariums in Palm Beach, Miami, Everglades and Key West. Even on my honeymoon in Praque, we visited the zoo. I love all your photos. But when i visited Vienna i didn't go to the zoo because i was with my parents and too young to go alone. So i followed the group and they didn't want to go to the zoo. They prefered shopping.
ReplyDeleteA lovely palace tour Maria. Was that a napping Koala I spied in snoozing in the fork of the tree?
ReplyDeleteI love all the red flowers. I have visited so many zoo's on my world this week!
ReplyDeleteWonderful!! I visited Schönbrunn on a gorgeous summer day, but it was before I had a digital camera. Enjoyed your beautiful shots very much.
ReplyDeleteHappy Tuesday!
