Today's flowers - Messengers of Spring

We found this early spring flower yesterday on our hike through the ridges of the Wienerwald
on the steep hills of Leopoldsberg on a sunny and extremely dry place.

Maybe the flowers have chosen this place also for its lovely view over Vienna and the river Danube?

Enjoy many, many more flowers from all around the world here:

Hi Maria!
Isn't it sweet how many flower and leaf buds start out with little "fur coats" wrapped around them!?!
Your photos are beautiful, as always ~
Peace & Joy to you,
Maria

Pasqueflowers are my favourite spring flowers. I have them all over my gardens! I think I saw some growth the other day, then it got cold. I'm so glad to see yours! Beautiful!

Hi Maria:)

Greetings and good wishes:)

Lovely flowers on a lonely place, exuding charm and beauty and spreading happiness all around inspite of the dreary surroundings.

It is interesting to read your thought that the flowers have chossen that place to have a good look at Vienna and Danube. This is a very interesting thought.

A well know poet,I am not getting his name right now, said that flowers wherever they are, whether they are in your garden or in a lonely place such as the one you have shown, will always remain beautiful. They are not concerned whether there is any one to look and appreciate them or there is no one to appreciate their beauty. They don't diminish their beauty and are not concerned about appreciation and adulation. They are there to sing God's glory and praise.

I have realised that photography opens up our mind and eyes.We tend to look for things of beauty at all times which normal people don't bother to see and appreciate.

Have a wonderful day Maria:)
