Ahhh, this was a pleasant evening!
After a heavy working day I spent some time in my favourite "Kaffeehaus" (and took this rainy picture when I left) and then my hubby called me and we spent the evening with a friend who invited us to watch a movie which was produved 1952 in post-war Vienna and which was designed to become a successor of "The Third Man", but without Hollywood stars. It turned out to be a flop and ruined the producers.
But we enjoyed it very much: a crazy pianist tyrannizing his wife, murdering her friend who tries to help her escape, a taxi driver without papers finding the corpse in his car, taking the passport and the plane ticket to USA, but by and by being confronted with the lady and the murder, finally supports her and risks his fate for her - everything in a nonchalant way as Harry Lime would have done, and THEY SUCCEED, they become a happy couple, the husband detected, and a plane rising in the monochrome sky - beautiful, and full of tension!
