Winter at the Danube in Vienna

Finally winter has come to Vienna,
with extremely cold temperatures and even some snow.

I took a long walk with my dog along the shore of the Danube this afternoon and enjoyed the winter atmosphere.

Water birds had left their foot prints in the snow,

and D'ora followed the decorative patterns on the ice.

What a lovely picture!

We returned home when the sun set.

Glad to see you back to blog land, we have missed all your beautiful photos of your side of the Third Rock from the Sun. Our January was the 4th warmest on record so we had spring flowers coming up and last weekend winter came but only snow showers. Some bushes and grasses were pretty only for a little while as it melted quickly. But winter has really popped in on you. Peace and again Welcome Back.

Du warst früher dran liebe Maria und hast daher die besseren Motive. Die Daubelfischer sind das sowieso zu jeder Jahreszeit für mich.
Liebe Grüsse
