Happy New Year 2010!

Little fuzzy pigs (Mangalica) at a petting zoo

waiting to be caressed

Dream catchers at last year's Christmas market near Karlskirche,

an odd stand with stunning headpieces and other handmade things.

Happy New Year 2010!
Hope you get enough shares of kindness and affection,
that your dreams will come true,
and life will be full of pleasant surprises!

Liebe Maria, muss man die kleinen Schweinchen auch scheren? Die sind ja so niedlich.

We are watching the New Year concert at the moment, were you there? I could not see you in the audience.

To you both, I wish a new decade filled with all the things you like doing best.

Love, Arija

The Woolly pig, Mangalitsa, is a breed of pig grown especially in Hungary and the Balkans known also as a curly-hair hog. It belongs to European unimproved lard-type breeds (as well as Iberian Black, Sicilian Black, and Alentejana pigs) that are descended directly from wild boar populations. [1]The breed is admirably hardy and adaptable to mountain feeding and low temperatures.[7] It is also extremely disease and stress resistant.[1]

Maria
Those little pigs are darling. Like they had a bad hair day. LOL
Maybe that is why the guy has the odd stand with all the head gear. LOL
Peace

Hi Maria, I have never seen fuzzy pigs, they are so cute and they make lovely pets. Markets are fun and always with novelties, so I must admit I do not go often as I do not like crowds.
thanks for the good wishes and the same to you. Let's see what the New Year brings.
