Great shots, Maria! And it is that time, isn't it? Don't know if we'll get snow here this year -- we got enough last year -- more than enough! But it's beautiful and it is beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
Lovely captures of the light on the snow. It's true, snow seems so wonderful in December, but it does get a little old in February when we're hoping for spring!
Yes, I can see how, over time, it could get the better of you. However, that third photograph - the narrow street with cobblestones covered in snow - is incredibly beautiful.
Mei, ist daaaaaaaaas schön bei Dir :). Immer wieder. Ganz liebe Grüße von Kessi, die immer wieder aufs Neue staunt, wenn sie bei Dir zu Gast sein darf!! DANKE!
I'd love to see all that snow blowing around - What shots you've captured! I'm anxious to see if we'll have a white Christmas! (we usually only get ice tho, so show as many snowy pics as you want, I welcome it!)
Beautiful Xmas pictures. Love especially the first one, it is mysterious, great shot. Wuensche dir ein frohes Weihnachtsfest und ein glueckliches Neues Jahr.
Maria, thanks for alerting me to your Pummerin bell. (I love it, bells having names!) What a fascinating story!! Especially about the first one, the OLD Pummerin: "The Old Pummerin was originally cast in 1705 from 208 of the 300 cannon captured from the Muslim invaders in the Second Turkish Siege of Vienna." A shame that it met its end tragically in later war time.

Your photos are simply lovely. So with the first appearance of snow, you think there is a chance of snow this Christmas?

Very beautiful, Maria! And it's so true that by February (or March here in Ontario, Canada) we'll be cursing it. :)
Really nice, the snow arrived just in time for christmas even here were I live.
The second images with all the flakes in the snow is a really nice capture.
