Prague, almost undamaged by WW II, is famous for its unique medieval architecture, the historical centre of Prague is inscribed in the World Heritage List.
The Town is beautfully situated on the Vltava river with many old bridges connecting the Old Town (Staré město) and the Lesser Town (Malá strana), the area below the Castle (Hradčany).
We enjoyed endless strolls through the medieval places and streets and colourful Easter markets, mourned at the Jewish town, and walked up to the Castle through hundreds of blooming cherry trees. Slowly the city unfolded with every step upwards, the dark Castle appeared behind the cheerful blossoms.
We returned to Charles bridge with its famous bridge tower.

Prag ist immer eine gute Destination! Danke für deinen Besuch. LG
This looks like a beautiful city. The photos are lovely.
Hi Maria, good to catch up in a wonderful city like Prag. It is understandable that you did not hanker for Prague earlier as you live yourself in such a bijoux like Vienna. I have been to Europe in 2007 and visited Vienna while in Europe. It was probably the last time. Thanks for being a good tour guide. Prague to me, always represented class and literature, great food and a very complicated language. Wish you well and perhaps we can keep in touch again.
