A winter vacation with summerly temperatures

It's amazing how fast two weeks go by!
We were so sad when we had to leave the Nile and the Red Sea and
say goodbye to Egypt with its pleasantly warm winter temperatures.

We had a lot of fun, swimming in the Red Sea and sunbathing under palm trees, and riding camels in the desert,
while good old Vienna was covered with snow.

The cruise on the Nile was special!
And we were totally overwhelmed by the majesty of the old Pharaonic temples.

Glad you let the good times roll.
Glad you did not roll off the camel as it kneeled. :)

You may have left just in time. Our region is preparing for a sudden change in weather tonight, with high wind, cold, rain, and hail expected.

Hi Maria, It makes a great holiday in a region steeped in history. How are you rolling along; we have a lot of rain but at least it is not cold. Wish you a lovely Xmas and a happy New Year. The pictures are fun and beautiful.

Hi maria!
Oh, I forgot you had plans to go to Egypt!
I'm so jealous of you!
I went there about 15 years ago.
it was a wonderful place and I wanna go there again someday.
is there a lady at the each bathroom there?
when I went there, the lady gave us only a short paper there.
I thought when I go there next time, I'll bring toilet paper there. ahaha!
anyway,
I wish you a merry Christmas!
