Autumn in the Vienna Woods - Peilstein

Schwarzensee am Peilstein

The small mountain Peilstein 716 m/2.350 feet high, with its breath-taking vertical cliffs, is a climber's paradise 40 km/22 miles southwest of Vienna, sourrounded by the soft rolling hills of the Vienna Woods.
In autumn, the bright colours of the beeches and the dark green pine trees make a nice contrast with the white limestone rocks.

Hi Maria!
oh, it seems to be difficult to climb this mountain?!
I took many pictures of changing leaves on Sunday.
I visited my parents-in-law.
I'm a little bit tired but I enjoyed seeing changing leaves!

Absolutely stunning! It's worth the climb to see that view. But wait!...You did it for me. :)

Actually, I would like to climb up to see the view for myself.

Breathtaking view. I would like to see it but not from the side of those cliffs. Yikes, even with a rope I would get dizzy and would be like a pertrified kat on a cliff side.
Dora and her friend were cuties. My Maggie's nose is getting better but it has been a lesson in patiences for both of us.
Peace
