    Never say "Just Poppies!". they are gorgeous. the red specially. One can always spot the red ones. I love them, Maria. Yours are beautiful. MB

    Last month sometime I noticed the baby geese had only one parent and that went on for a few weeks and then somedays there would be two adults and sometimes not so I call the one who came to stay, Uncle Bill. I don't knw, maybe Papa came back. MB

    I love your pics! The poppy is our state flower. When I was a little girl they grew wild everywhere. The hills were literally covered with them...then people began processing opium out of them (must have been the 60's) and they were exterminated...so sad.

    Its been awhile since I have seen any poppies around here. Those petals kinda remind me of colorful tissue paper. Very pretty.
