Today's flowers -Mother's Day


This is what I wished my mother for Mother's Day
when I was a child:


Breakfast on an elegant balcony decorated with roses in Vienna


a sweet red marzipan heart from Demel's Hofzuckerbäckerei


sparkling juwels blossom shaped


a teddybear with red roses


an invitation for dinner - perhaps at Ilona Stüberl in Bräunergasse?

And today?
All my best wishes to her and to everybody!

    When I was a child, I was picking roses from foreign gardens, putting them in a plastic box and giving them to my mom. I'm still giving my mother flowers every year but I pay for them now!!!:)

    It's plain to see how much you love your mother and how you'd wish to show her that by pampering her. Really lovely post for mother's day.

    I'm sure your Mum is just as happy with a hug. But with such an array of possible gifts I can see how you'd want to give some of them - or all.
