The coloured cabbages look like roses. The humble cabbage has moved up a rung or two now it is even gilded. No cabbage soup anymore. Christmas decoration in Vienna looks beautiful.
thanks maria 4 yr comments..the cabbage one was indeed a great posting..of course v will stay connected..am adding your intersting blog to my list..request u to reciprocate..thanks
I can see the Christmas fever in Vienna is making people look desperately for new avenues of decoration.
Soon I think every conceivable fruit and vegetable and other objects will get glitter coatings so that the entire city of Vienna glitters on the world map putting the dazzling sun to shame :) :) :)
I also suggest that you stock up your fridge with enough fruits and vegetables now itself. You may not get them for Christmas or you will have to pay fancy prices.
Sorry for the confusion. I think Austrainas are doing the right thing! Afterall, Austria always made the best Christmas ornaments. Let us all celebrate Christmas the way it should be celebrated, remebering the birth of Christ, gift giving and sharing good tidings throughout the wolrd, singing Christmas carols and having those Christmas feasts. I hope Austrians will never have the political correctness bullsh-t that paralyzes America. Merry Christmas!!! I am playing Strauss today to hnonor you!

Are they sprayed with gold and sparkles? They look intresting but personally I prefer plain greenery for the festive season.
ReplyDeleteGott sei Dank hast du dir das Rauchen abgewoehnr! Lungenkrebs ist eine der grausamsten Weisen zu sterben. Gratuliere!

ReplyDeleteAhh but they're lovely either way!
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a great week!
Good before and after comparison. At least they retained some color, even if it wasn't their original.
ReplyDeleteThey still have enough colours to give life to their surroundings - but I wouldn't care to eat them...
ReplyDeleteGod Jul!! ;-)
