Brenda's Photo Challenge - SWEETS

This is the window display of one of Vienna's most famous coffee houses,
Demel's K. u. K. Hofzuckerbäckerei.

The clue is:
Everything is made of sugar!
SWEETER THAN SWEET!
The girl, the prince, the Lippizaner horse, everything!







AND WHEN YOU HAVE EATEN TOO MANY SWEETS, LOOK, THERE IS THE "APOTHEKE" (pharmacy) RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET ;D


And back in the streets, you wonder if the houses are also made of sugar!

    Gosh Maria, you live in such a beautiful and historical country. The advantage of the blogs versus the travelogues is that the blogs are personal interpretations and I like your interpretation of your beautiful country.

    Hi Maria, slipped over from Ces' place. Vienna is one of my all time favourite cities. I remember sitting in the cafe at Hotel Sacher eating cake and drinking coffee, then buying a Sacher Torte to send home to my son who was too young to travel with us at the time. My daughter and I went to the Spanish Riding school as well, it was gorgeous but the sweet and cake shops took our breath away. I drank more coffee and ate more cake and chocolate in Vienna than any other city we visited!

    In the photo showing the apothocary across the street, did you notice the woman in the bottom right was pouting? Did she not get any sweets? LOL
