My friend Brigitte and me (the "Vienna Skywalkers") took these photos yesterday evening on our skywatch tour. We walked two and a half hours, 9 miles!
This time we walked in the other direction, from northeast to southwest.
And we did not follow the Danube,
but part of its water!
And we did not follow the Danube,
but part of its water!

Part of its water?
In order to supply an intensively used agricultural area east of Vienna with water, a canal was built about 25 years ago.
The canal takes its water from the Danube, distributes it, flows then into a little river named Russbach wich flows itself into the river Danube again about 40 miles eastward.
Yeah!
I will post our tour along Marchfeldkanal later on!
